As of April 27, the Courthouse and other County Buildings are currently offering limited access to the public. Please find resources below for links and contact information for each office.

    • For Birth & Death certificates, you may make those requests by fax (406)883.7283 or to pholle@lakemt.gov or jmunn@lakemt.gov. The completed request must be accompanied by the requestors identification [see request form for suggested ID] Requestor must call the office and provide credit card information, or send the request, and a copy of your ID with a check or money order to the address on the request form. The birth and death certificates will be mailed to you at the address you have provided to us on the form. See the request forms under Common Downloads on the Clerk & Recorders website, listed above.
  • To pay fines online you may visit www.citepayusa.com keep in mine you will need your case #, which will need to include all 0’s listed, or you may use your citation number as well. If you have a warrant, or your payment is past due, you will not be able to use citepay services. Contact the Court at 406.883.7260 for continuances, and further information.

  • Open for voting and registration, must enter through the east door at the Courthouse, your temperature will be taken. If you have a fever you will not be permitted entry.

  • Department and WIC remain open to calls and scheduled appointments, however the building is locked down to walk-in clients and visitors. Until further notice, all WIC visits will be conducted via phone. If your number has changed please contact the WIC office immediately at 406.883.7307. If you need to schedule for immunizations or family planning services, please call 406.883.7288. (case by case basis)
